2015 rifle season

We had 7 weasels in camp for this years hunt. Weasels Larry, Gregg, Joel. Ryan, Brennen, Ashlyn and Mike. Six of us hunted reasonably hard for 3 days with very little to show for our efforts. Mike did get a nice 8 pointer the first morning and Joel got a big doe, but that was the extent of our success. Gregg saw quite a few deer down along County W, but the rest of us saw very few. I only saw 1 off my new stand. Gregg and I hunted 4 hours on Mon, morning. and neither one of us saw anything. Everyone was disappointed with our sightings and the lack of shots being fired in our area. We got together with the Klatt Camp gang on Monday afternoon and they hadn't seen anything either. Hunting conditions were good but hunting pressure seemed way down. Other than a lack of deer, we had a great time. Friday night at County Line was good and Sunday afternoon we watched the Packer-Viking game with the Roots and the Camp M&M gang and had a real good time. Had a chance to visit with the Denvers and Danny and his sons and really enjoyed our visits. Guess we have to look at the positive side, we left a lot of bucks for next year. Gregg and I officially put the mice to bed and closed camp til next Spring on Tues. morning and headed home.
