A band of eager weasels headed North on the 17th and 18th to prepare for th up coming fall hunts. Weasels Gregg and Carson arrived Thurs nite. By the time weasels Larry, Ryan and the Daffer got there Friday afternoon, the lawn and clearing were mowed and it was time to hit Hidden Tavern at the Creek. As usual the fish and Havoc burgers were excellent as were the beverages consumed with them. Saturday the boys did a yeomans job of cutting and bringing in enough firewood for the season. Then it was off to the meat raffles where once again Carson won twice and took honors. We returned to camp and watched sports on TV. Sunday they split wood and loaded my truck to keep Jan happy. Weasel Tom and his buddy stopped over Sunday and picked up the Cub Cadet Tractor . Highlite was Gregg and Carson thinking they spotted a Bob Cat on the driveway Thursday nite. This was confirmed when we got him on the trail camera this week. nice big cat. As usual the trip was great. Good friends, good food, and plenty of liquid nourishment. Next trip will be opening of Bow season. Lots of nice bucks showing up on camera. Until next time, remember, life is good and even better if your a weasel.
