First Bow hunt 9/23/2021 thru 9/25/2021

Weasels Larry, Gregg and Carson along with Weasel dog Sammy, headed north on Thurs afternoon to begin our first bow hunt of the season on Friday. Friday morning we both saw does, but no bucks. Friday afternoon I saw nothing and Gregg saw a couple does. We were joined Friday night by Weasel Ryan. We went to the Creek Friday night for fish. I think everyone saw does Saturday morning and Gregg saw a couple bucks. We took Carson on his first grouse hunt but didn't flush any. Daffy is still crippled up and can't do much hunting. In the afternoon Carson got his first squirrel and proudly mounted the tail on the cabin wall with the other hunting trophy's. Gregg and Ryan went out Sunday morning, while the rest of the crew slept in. Next trip Oct 9th and 10th for the youth hunt, when Carson plans on shooting his first deer. Until then, keep safe and remember life is good, even better if you're a weasel.
