Quick trip north for work and pleasure

Weasels Larry, Charlie and Weasel dog Daffy headed North to do a little bow hunting and mow the lawn for hopefully the last time. We arrived Tuesday afternoon I mowed quickly and we were able to get in the woods for about two hours. Our experience Tues. night was a preview of things to come. We never saw a deer in the woods the entire trip. Wednesday afternoon we went up to the Creek and had a nice visit with friends. Marlin was there and was looking good. Sharon and her friend Kathy were there so we got to visit with them also. We also ran into Walt and Elaine Hibbs and Bob and Susie Carlson, so we had a very successful visit. We went over to County Line for chicken Wed. night and it was great as usual. They are starting to make a pretty good Old Fashioned too. All in all, we ate too much , drank too much and had a really relaxing and enjoyable time. Had two mice in the traps which wasn't too bad. I serviced the compost toilet and was very pleased with the way it is functioning. All in all a great trip. Until next time its still great to be a weasel.
