Rough trip to Camp Weasel

We had scheduled a work trip to camp for March 22 thru the 25th. Weasels Larry,Gregg,Tom,Carson and Ryan were to meet Friday night at the Creek for Fish and beverages. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. They were predicting 7 to 11 inches of snow for the southern part of the state, and Ryan and I chickened out. Gregg,Carson and Tom bravely headed to camp. They ended up with about 8 inches total by the time they headed home, but were able to accomplish quit a bit of work. They did a yeoman job of cutting up some large oak and getting it up to the wood shed. Several trail cameras were checked and batteries replaced where needed. From what I understand, they did an excellent job of representing Camp Weasel at the Creek. This was the first trip since deer season, so it was great to get together with our Indian Creek friends. Rumor has it that there is a new couple from Newville living near the Creek and working there. Can't wait to meet them. Despite cold weather (7 degrees Sat) they got camp opened and ready for warmer weather. Next trip, April 24 for a little turkey hunting.
